February Musings
With spring only a little more than a month away, I’m getting inspired by the idea of fresh greenery, rearranging shelves, and overall giving my surroundings a much needed refresh. Hopefully this curation of new and vintage items inspires you to get started on freshening up and reviving your spaces to prepare for warmer, sunnier days ahead.
— I have been contemplating the idea of changing the name of my monthly posts, originally called “Current Covets”, to something that felt a little more reflective and thoughtful. I decided on “Monthly Musings”, with each post encompassing a unique feeling within the current month or season. —
Rearranging bookshelves or a coffee table can make for a simple yet effective refresh
Growing up in California, I have always found myself leaning more towards natural, organic shapes and styles when it comes to design. This month, as I look forward to sunny days, I’m feeling extra nostalgic for the coast and the simplicity it often brings.
Vases and vessels to display fresh greens
Although the branches where I live are still missing their leaves, spring feels right around the corner and there’s no better way to prepare than to acquire some versatile vases and vessels. A few of these pieces are vintage, which is one of my favorite ways to find some great vases with character. Etsy is my favorite for online finds, and antique stores always have the best treasures!
